Notes to Producers and workshop facilitators-Students from various university departments who are interested in the use of the human body are welcome.
-Participants should expect to be challenged to develop hybrid personas and images based on their own complex identities and political concerns.
-Workshops can last from one day to five weeks with each session being eight hours long.
-Ages can range from 18 to 80.

Identifying and preparing the spaceSpace
-The space is determined by the number of individuals as it ranges from six to twenty-six.
-A secured room to store props, costumes, and equipment is important.
Lighting
-Lighting is key to creating a de-instatutionalized and performative environment.
-Dimmable lighting and colored lighting are preferred as apposed to fluorescent overhead light.
Sound
-There will always be music playing unless the workshop demands silence.
-Individuals are encouraged to bring their mixes or playlists to add a variety of styles.
The prop and costume station
-Individuals are asked to bring there own objects that have meaning to them through ideas and aesthetics.
-Examples of these objects are: masks, wigs, shoes, figurines, and pieces of fabric.
